2015 Most Memorable Moments

Taste of the Danforth 2015

01 Jan 2015 Most Memorable Moments

Happy New Year! As we launch into 2016, we can’t help but think back on the last year and all of the great opportunities we’ve had in 2015. From outdoor festivals to charity galas, weddings to public showcases, we feel like we’ve been privy to some pretty amazing events.

While every event is special, here are some of the most memorable (and interesting) things that happened to Saturday Night Superstars this past year.

  1. “The Fall” during Jump @ Taste of the Danforth
Despite the embarrassment of this one, it is the obvious winner. The 2,000+ spectators at the Krinos Taste of the Danforth gasped in astonishment as Matt accentuated this Van Halen classic with a big air kick–that landed him right on his rear! See the full performance here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSN2FVeQ2TE
  2. ROCKSTAR Masterclass Program – Regent Park School of Music Mentorship
Giving back is part of what we do, and in 2015 we officially started our Masterclass program with RPSM and heard some impressive performances by their students. We hope to continue this affiliation indefinitely.
  3. Dance-off with a 10 year-old on Toronto Island
The RCYC was host to a lavish wedding where both Matt’s dancing and singing skills were challenged by one of the younger patrons.

  4. Bob Rae grooving on the dance floor @ Weston Golf & CC
Earlier in the year we were happy to be part of the Centennial Celebration at Weston. We were surprised to see former Premier Bob Rae right up front during Blurred Lines! What a great dancer!
  5. Crowd surfing!
When a bride and groom crowd surfs, you know it’s a good night!

A big thanks to all of our clients in 2015! We appreciate all of your continued promotion and kudos, and look forward to continued success in 2016 and beyond.
